Simon Høy Guldmand — Simon Høy for short, and Simon Hill is the name the practice trades under. He is adm. direktør of Oparko A/S, the digital parking platform he has led since it was founded in Aarhus in 2015, and of Capison ApS, a debt collection business. He sits on the boards of Oparko and its holding company.

Oparko is a useful thing to know about him. It is a software company that took on an industry running on paper permits and disputed tickets, built its own platform rather than licensing someone else’s, and now operates across Scandinavia. Running it means the whole span: strategy and the board pack, the P&L, the integrations, the data the decisions rest on, and the compliance that comes with holding other people’s money and vehicle data.

Capison is the same discipline pointed at a harder problem. Debt collection is a business where the temptation to cut corners is constant and the rules on how you may speak to someone who owes money are strict. Running it well is mostly governance and restraint.

That combination is what this practice offers. The six competencies on the front page are not a reading list; they are what the last decade of actually doing it has consisted of. It tends to be most useful where the boardroom and the operation have stopped speaking the same language: where the board sees numbers it cannot act on, where a process is held together by one person and a spreadsheet, or where growth has outrun the way the company is governed.
